ABOUT YOUR
REPRESENTATIVE |

My
name is Michael Beaulieu and I am requesting your support, your vote
and the honor of representing you in the Maine House of
Representatives from District #68, Auburn, Maine.
As your representative, you
may depend on me to:
- Apply common sense
solutions to issues facing our state
- Seek and respect your
views when voting on state issues
- Ensure that your trust in
me will be returned with honest and responsible representation
- Be informed on every issue
and conscious of the impact each could have on you and your family
My brief bio:
- Native of Lewiston-Auburn
- Lewiston High School and
the University of Maine in Farmington graduate
- American History and
Government teacher at Lewiston High School for 39 years
- Married to Paula Ann
(Moreau) Beaulieu with two children and two grandchildren
- Served on numerous
professional organizations and coached football, basketball and
track
- A volunteer for various
youth programs, including a variety of student governing bodies,
and supervised our Model State Legislative Program for
approximately 25 years
- “Diploma Supervisor” for
the Lewiston Adult Education Program
- Presently serving my
second
term in the State Legislature and serving on the Joint Standing
Committee on Judiciary and Joint Standing Committee on Legal and
Veterans Affairs.

STANCE ON THE ISSUES |
|
|
|
As your representative my main
concern will be to propose and support legislation which will have a
positive impact upon the citizens of District #68 and the State of
Maine. It is my intention to evaluate proposed bills in light of
their impact upon my constituents and act in accordance with their
views and interests. It is my goal to work for what is right without
sacrificing the values and the needs of those who live in District
#68.
